ASSESSMENT 3

for this assessment, I changed the theme of my blog account to a darker theme, however I used girly-looking font to liven it up a bit. I did this because I think it looks good and is fun...and I am a bit of a girl. Out of the three assessments I found this one the most enjoyable as it didnt take long to do, and I was able to play around with the features of my accounts. I have recently added a few more photos to my flickr account which was also a requirement of the assessment. I added some photos of me back home with the boys drinking and some other funny ones. I did this because it gives people a good idea of what Im like. I also added some silly photos...eg I searched my name in google images, and a photo of a naked man and woman came up, so I had to add that which i thought that was funny too. In total, I added approx. 30 photos, and I will continue  to add more up until the due date for assessment 3. The second assessment i found was the most challenging, as I had to create my own webspace and site. As i am not familiar with computers and web codes, I did struggle to learn it, however I eventually sorted it out and completed the assessment.

For my delicious account, I have progressively added websites to the account that interest me. I added a porn site even, which may be frowned upon...but it interests me....sorry Marron. This was also a requirement for our assessments.

In addition to these accounts,, I have continuously added posts to my blog which are generally random posts detailing things I am doing or whatever I am thinking at that time. There are a few silly ones, as I try to keep things funny at all times. Once again, I think my posts, as odd as they are, represent me and my personality well.

During session 2 whilst completing this subject, I have learnt first and foremost how to manage various accounts including flickr, delicious and blogger. I have also learnt the basics of creating a website which could potentially benefit me in the future. Overall, for me MPI104 was an enjoyable subject which was delivered well. Thanks for the good times Marron. Cya at the pub!

Assessmant 2 blog

While doing this assessment, we learnt how to set up and create a web page. While doing this, I explored ideas and topics of a web page. Along the way there were some obsticals however...such as the constant Wednesday night drinking sessions which happen to result in a massive hangover for class on Thursday, ultimately making it hard to register anything we learn. however, I managed to complete my web page using the w3schools site which was very helpful. All in all, it was a great task which was very interesting and well taught. Since the majority of the content was delivered in class, it made it much easier when completing the assessment.

After some thought, i decided to make a website about Wollongong, which is my home town where I grew up. Included was a home/index page, which had the slogan 'we love the gong' at the top of the page. Underneath was the title Wollongong, which was followed by a paragraph of information about Wollongong. I included a links page, which contained links to other related sites, as well as links to my blogger, flickr and delicious accounts. I then included a location link, which contained a map of Wollongong's location and an aerial shot of the city. Finally, I included an activities link which had pictures of things to do in Wollongong, accompanied by text which supported the images.

I believe that my web design turned out good, although if I had more time I would have liked to include more information on Wollongong with a few more links. However in saying this, I think that the web design is a good illustration of Wollongong which demonstrates the city in a positive way.
